At Wren, we believe that solving the climate crisis means betting on bold ideas before they’re fully proven. Many of today’s most promising carbon removal pathways are still in the lab, in pilot projects, or the early stages of commercialization. They need catalytic support, not just to survive, but to thrive and scale into the solutions our planet urgently needs.
That’s why The Wren Climate Collective, our fiscally sponsored non-profit, is offering a $100,000 non-dilutive grant to help accelerate early-stage carbon dioxide removal (CDR).

The Africa Agri-Food Development Programme (AADP) is Ireland’s flagship initiative supporting the role of the private sector in sustainable food systems development.

It acts as a catalyst to enable Irish and African businesses to explore and seize exciting opportunities to bring their expertise to Africa – to develop new markets and to contribute to strengthening mutual trade between Ireland and Africa.

Through matched grant funding the programme offers Irish and African agri-businesses of all sizes an invaluable opportunity to develop and harness the potential from innovative partnerships with companies in sub-Saharan African countries.

It enables businesses to manage their financial risk and to use their expertise and resources to work on projects jointly, to deliver significant positive impacts for local communities in African countries.

The AADP, which opens once a year for funding applications to support projects and feasibility studies, enables Ireland’s agri-food sector to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals that aim to tackle poverty, eradicate hunger, fight inequality, and make real and sustainable changes that better the lives of the world's most vulnerable communities

This project seeks to apply an NBS approach to improve and/or enhance the resilience of several sectors, starting with infrastructure assets in Africa and Central Asia. The NBS-IA seeks to support entities that work on sustainable infrastructure and NBS from a design, technical and/or technological innovation perspective, and which are in the development, testing and/or implementation stage of their product or service, with grants and other support (e.g. communication, knowledge management and connections with potential (co)funders/investors) to advance their solutions in green infrastructure and other key NBS sectors. The overall objective is to create a NBS Innovation Accelerator (NBS-IA) in emerging markets that proves that it is possible to apply financially-viable NBS solutions to a wide variety of sectors – starting with infrastructure. The NBS-IA aims to support entities working on concrete NBS solutions, both public and private, that also have the potential to attract subsequent capital from public and/or private investors (e.g., impact investors, multilateral funds, DFIs, MDBs) to implement and scale their solution(s) in practice.

The Dovetail Impact Foundation fuels extraordinary organizations serving individuals experiencing extreme poverty. In the next few years, Dovetail is interested in discovering new partners in a subset of our overall geographies of interest, which we are terming Priority Markets - high-need markets where overall poverty rates are very high and growing, and there's a lower density of private philanthropy.
Dovetail Impact Foundation invites expressions of interest from organizations in the below priority markets for funding based on the following criteria (no need for current Dovetail partners to reply, or for organizations outside of these geographies). Please note that this is not a funding application, simply a way for our team to learn about your organization and follow up if there is strategic fit.
