The first UNITE Open Call aims to support innovative digital solutions addressing two key challenges: 1. Advancing More Personalised and Human-Centric Remote Care Solutions that: • Empower patients with tools to manage and understand their health • Increase access to care for remote and underserved populations • Ensure continuity of care while reducing in-person visits
2. Advancing European Health Data Spaces Innovations that: • Enhance patient care by improving data accessibility and understanding • Advance research and innovation by providing better data access • Simplify the regulatory environment through data interoperability and harmonised frameworks
Eligibility & Regional Requirements Applicants must be legally established in and comply with the requirements of the following UNITE participating regions: • Region Zealand, Denmark • Northern Netherlands, Netherlands • Central Macedonia, Greece • Lombardy Region, Italy • Extremadura Region, Spain • Scotland, United Kingdom • Romania (national scope)
Consortium Requirements Each consortium must include minimum 3 organisations from 3 different UNITE regions: • At least 1 company or other close-to-market solution provider • At least 1 research entity supporting the company from any perspective • At least 1 end-user organization demonstrating the solution in real-life settings Each consortium must respect the regional balance and include: • At least 1 organisation from a strong innovation region (Zealand, Northern Netherlands, Scotland) • At least 1 organisation from a moderate or emerging region (Central Macedonia, Romania, Lombardy, Extremadura)
