Short DescirptionVaud's The Service for the Promotion of the Economy and Innovation (SPEI) can grant financial aid for collaborative projects in which companies work together with the aim of sustainability.
Criteria(Please refer to the website for eligibility criteria)

To be eligible for financial assistance for a sustainable collaborative project issued by the SPEI, applications submitted must meet all of the following criteria:
• Collaborative projects are proposed by a consortium of partners.
• A consortium is a group of stakeholders in which all partners contribute to the implementation of the project and, in return, benefit from its outcomes. These partners may include corporate partners, academic partners, or public partners.
• Consortia are made up of at least three business partners, at least two of which are established and carry out their activities in the canton of Vaud (3 Vaud companies from 5 partners), academic and public organizations are welcome, but are not considered as business partners;
• Corporate partners are organizations carrying out an economic activity, registered in the commercial register.
• Organizations that do not directly benefit from the project (other than by providing a product or service) are considered suppliers and agents. Service providers that only coordinate the project are welcome, but are not considered project partners; All partners, suppliers and agents may be eligible for SPEI funding and may contribute human or financial resources;
• The main project leader must be a legal entity (SA, Sàrl, other);
• The project must allocate a significant portion of funding to implementation ;
• From the time of the grant decision, the partners have one year to start the project.

No grant can be allocated for measures linked to a legal obligation.
Projects eligible for support from other cantonal programs are not supported under sustainable collaborative projects.

Please note that financial assistance is available up to the limit of available budgets.
The SPEI reserves the right to refuse any request for financial assistance, providing reasons for its decision.
