Short DescirptionThe TEF-Health consortium launches its Second Open Call for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This opportunity provides subsidized access to top-tier testing, validation, and certification services across Europe, supporting the development of safe, effective, and trustworthy AI and robotics solutions in healthcare.
Criteria(Please refer to the website for eligibility criteria)
Eligibility:
- SMEs legally registered in the EU or EEA
- AI/robotics solutions at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 or higher
- Applicants must not have exceeded the €300,000 state aid threshold

Services available include:
- Clinical and simulated environment testing
- Access to structured, high-quality health data
- Regulatory consulting and CE-marking readiness
- Cybersecurity and trustworthiness validation
- Support for AI/ML model performance evaluation

• SME is legally incorporated and established in one of the EU or EEA member states1 .
• The ownership or shares of the SME must not be held by individuals or entities outside the EU/EEA.
• The fulfilment of these requirement shall be confirmed through an official declaration issued by the legal representative of the SME.
• Company is an SME according to the EU definition
• The fulfilment of this requirement shall be confirmed with an official declaration issued by the legal representative of the SME.
• The company must present evidence in the form of a formal declaration by the legal representative of the SME that the SME has not received over 300,000 EUR in state aid support during the previous 3 fiscal years.
• AI and robotics solutions must be at a minimum Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 6
